Description
Mouse pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (MPMECs) are specialized endothelial cells located in the pulmonary microvascular bed (diameter < 100 μm). By regulating alveolar-capillary barrier permeability, inflammatory responses and angiogenesis, they hold key value in research on acute lung injury (ALI), pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer metastasis.
Immortalized Mouse Pulmonary Microvascular Endothelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
