Human mammary epithelial cells (HMECs) are polarized epithelial cells forming mammary ducts and acini, possessing milk secretion, mammary structure maintenance and hormone response functions. They hold core value in research on breast cancer carcinogenesis, mammary gland development, drug screening and tissue engineering.

Immortalized Human Mammary Epithelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
