Description

Mouse colonic mucosal epithelial cells (mCECs) are monolayer columnar epithelial cells isolated from mouse colonic mucosa, forming the core structure of the intestinal barrier. They possess nutrient absorption, mucus secretion and immune defense functions, and are crucial in research on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colon cancer, intestinal flora interaction and barrier function.

Immortalized Mouse Colonic Epithelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
