Description
cAMP NOMAD FSHR Cells stably co-express tag-free GPCRs and cAMP Nomad Biosensor. The cell line allows to monitor G-protein modulation by cAMP release. Each vial of cAMP NOMAD FSHR cells contains U2OS cells stably expressing the following constructs:
- Human Follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) with no tag
- cAMP Nomad Biosensor (Red Fluorescence)
cAMP NOMAD FSHR Cell Line allows for the assay of compounds analyzing the G-Protein signaling pathway via cAMP, following activation of the receptor. When an agonist binds to FSHR, a G protein is activated which, in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP. This leads to an increase in the red fluorescence intensity of cAMP biosensor. Thus, the activity can be easily quantified in living cells in a dose-response manner by fluorescence emission in a microplate reader.
