Description
Ovine endometrial epithelial cells (oEECs) are polarized monolayer epithelial cells isolated from sheep or goat endometrium, forming the first barrier of the maternal-embryonic interface. By secreting nutritional factors (e.g., progesterone, prostaglandins) and extracellular vesicles (EVs), they participate in embryo implantation, pregnancy maintenance and uterine microenvironment regulation, and serve as an important model for studying ruminant reproductive physiology, pregnancy diseases and reproductive technology.
Immortalized Ovine Endometrial Epithelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
