Description
Human lung fibroblasts (HLFs) are core stromal cells in the pulmonary interstitium. By synthesizing and remodeling extracellular matrix (ECM) (e.g., collagen, fibronectin), they maintain lung tissue structure and participate in injury repair, and are crucial in research on pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and lung cancer microenvironment regulation.
Immortalized Human Lung Fibroblasts were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
