Description

LHCGR and Cre-tGFP Co-expressing Stable Cell Line contains HEK293 cells stably expressing human Luteinizing Hormone/ Choriogonadotropin Receptor (LHCGR) with no tag and the CRE-tGFP reporter gene as a biosensor to monitor cAMP concentration changes.

This LHCGR Cell Line allows to:

  1. assay compounds, or
  2. analyze their capability to modulate LHCGR.
  3. When a ligand binds to the LHCGR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP.
  4. Due to the presence of the CRE-tGFP reporter gene, this cell line allows to monitor cAMP concentration in living cells measuring fluorescence intensity.

As validated, the LHCGR cell line measures cAMP concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with rhCG. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring FSH receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
