Description
We have developed the HEK293 Cells Expressing Membrane Bound TNFα (mTNFα HEK293 cell line) by stable transfection with a human membrane bound TNF-α (mTNFα) protein expression plasmid. The cell line provides consistent levels of expression of human mTNFα protein in cells surface. Each vial of cells contains more than 3 million viable cells stably expressing mTNFα with hygromycin resistance gene.
The cell line is ready to use in cell-based assay applications, such as screening for TNFα antagonists. This cell line provides consistent levels of expression, which helps simplify the interpretation of results. The HEK293 Cells Expressing Membrane Bound TNFα also allows to establish in vitro models for High Throughput and High Content Screening.
