Description
The IL6R HEK293 cell line has been developed by stable transfection with a human Interleukin 6 Receptor (IL6R, a.k.a. CD126) protein expression plasmid. IL6R HEK293 cell line provides consistent levels of expression of human IL6R protein in cells surface. Each vial of cells contains more than 3 million viable cells stably expressing IL6R.
IL6R HEK293 Cell line is ready to use in cell-based assay applications, such as screening for IL6 antagonists. This stably transfected clonal cell line provides consistent levels of expression, which helps simplify the interpretation of results. IL6R HEK293 Cell line also allows to establish in vitro models for High Throughput and High Content Screening.
