Description
Green Fluorescent CB2 Cannabinoid Receptor Cell Line contains CHO-K1 cells stably expressing CB2 tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The Green Fluorescent CB2 Cannabinoid Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CB2 activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the CB2 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent CB2 redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CB2 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
