Description
Retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration are closely associated with pathological changes in retinal blood vessels. With in-depth research on retinal vascular diseases, retinal vascular endothelial cells have been identified as key cells in these lesions. Isolation and culture of primary retinal microvascular endothelial cells in vitro to obtain a large number of high-purity endothelial cells can provide a reliable in vitro model for the study of retinal vascular diseases.
Immortalized Human Retinal Microvascular Endothelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
