Description

Rat cardiac fibroblasts are the predominant stromal cells in cardiac tissue, accounting for 60-70% of the total cardiac cells. They maintain cardiac structural integrity, secrete extracellular matrix (ECM) and participate in injury repair, and play a core role in research on myocardial fibrosis, heart failure, arrhythmia and cardiac remodeling.

Immortalized Rat Cardiac Fibroblasts were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
