Description

cAMP NOMAD Cells are cell lines stably co-expressing tag-free GPCRs and cAMP NOMAD Biosensor to monitor G-protein modulation by cAMP release. Each vial of cAMP NOMAD GLP-2 Receptor (GLP2R) Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing the following constructs:

  1. human GLP-2 Receptor (GLP2R) with no tag;
  2. cAMP NOMAD Biosensor (Red Fluorescence).

cAMP NOMAD GLP-2 Receptor (GLP2R) Cell Line allows to assay compounds analyzing the G-Protein signalling pathway by Gs involving receptor activation. When an agonist binds to GLP-2, the Gs protein is activated which, in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP via adenylate cyclase stimulation. This leads to an increase of red fluorescence intensity of cAMP biosensor. So, the activity can be easily quantified on living cells in a dose-response manner by fluorescence emission in a microplate reader.
