Description
C-127 is an untransformed clone derived from an RIII mouse mammary tumor. The supernatant of these cells has no reverse transcriptase activity. This cell line is used for:
- sarcoma virus-induced agglutination assays,
- in vitro quantitative tests for bovine papillomavirus, and
- transformation with bovine papillomavirus DNA plasmids as a suitable receptor.
