Description

Experimental animals were immunized with purified human erythrocyte acetylcholinesterase, and splenocytes were fused with SP2/O-Agl4 myeloma cells.
The resulting antibody binds to human and monkey acetylcholinesterase, but the AE-1 cell reaction site is different from the antigenic determinant of AE-2.
Testing found AE-1 cells negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
