Description

Human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs) are the major stromal cells located in the dermis of skin. They are responsible for the synthesis and remodeling of extracellular matrix (ECM) (e.g., collagen, elastin, fibronectin), and hold core value in research on skin aging, wound repair, fibrotic diseases and tissue engineering.

Immortalized Human Dermal Fibroblasts were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
