Description
The endometrium is a target tissue of ovarian hormones and the contact site between the fetus and the mother. Its stromal cells undergo morphological and biological changes during the estrous cycle and pregnancy. The endometrium consists of two layers: a single layer of columnar epithelium and the lamina propria. The connective tissue cells of the lamina propria are mainly endometrial stromal cells, which belong to fibroblasts.
Immortalized Human Endometrial Stromal Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
