Human Kupffer Cells (HKC), also known as liver macrophages, are isolated from human healthy liver tissue. HKC are cryopreserved just after isolation and delivered frozen. They are guaranteed to further culture in the conditions provided in the technical sheet. However, HKC are not recommended for expanding or long-term cultures since the cells do not proliferate in regular culture.
