Description

Green Fluorescent Calcitonin Receptor Cell Line contains CHO-K1 cells stably expressing CALCR tagged with tGFP.

  • These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.
  • The Green Fluorescent Calcitonin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CALCR activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the CALCR, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles.
  • This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent CALCR redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms.
  • The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring Calcitonin Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
