Description
We developed the CHO-K1 Cell line expressing IL6R & Luciferase by stable co-transfection with a human Interleukin 6 Receptor (IL6R, a.k.a. CD126) and Luciferase protein expression plasmid. The cell line provides consistent levels of expression of human IL6R protein and Luciferase in cells surface. Each vial of cells contains more than 3 million viable cells stably expressing IL6R protein and Luciferase with hygromycin resistance gene.
The CHO-K1 Cell Line Expressing IL6R & Luciferase is ready for cell-based assay applications, such as screening for IL6 antagonists. The stably transfected clonal cell line helps simplify the interpretation of results. It also allows to establish in vitro models for High Throughput and High Content Screening.
