Description
Human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) are isolated from gingival connective tissue of healthy adults and primarily cultured by the tissue explant method or enzymatic digestion. Identified via morphological observation and specific biomarker detection, HGFs exhibit spindle-shaped adherent growth, high proliferative activity, immunoregulatory function and multilineage differentiation potential.
Immortalized Human Gingival Fibroblasts were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
