Description
Rat cavernous corpus endothelial cells (RCCECs) are specialized endothelial cells lining the vascular lumens of the penile corpus cavernosum. By secreting nitric oxide (NO) and vasoactive substances, they regulate penile erectile function, and hold key value in research on erectile dysfunction (ED), diabetic vasculopathy and endothelial injury repair.
Immortalized Rat Corpus Cavernosum Endothelial Cells were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
