Description

Human breast cancer-associated fibroblasts (hCAFs) are an activated fibroblast subpopulation isolated from the breast cancer tumor microenvironment. They drive tumor proliferation, invasion, metastasis and chemoresistance by abnormally secreting cytokines (e.g., TGF‑β, IL-6) and remodeling ECM, and serve as a core target for studying breast cancer microenvironment interaction and targeted therapy.

Immortalized Human Breast Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts were transduced with lentivirus carrying the SV40 gene and puromycin resistance. Tests confirmed that the cells are free from bacterial and fungal contamination, exhibit excellent proliferation potential, and can be passaged 10-20 times in vitro.
