Collagen I  Cell Culture Surface Coating Kit includes 10 ml of Collagen type I from rat tail at 1 mg/ml and 2 ml of 100X Collagen I Solvent. The collagen I was purified from rat tail tendon with a modified Bell Method. It is supplied as a sterile liquid in 1/1000 acetic acid. The 100x collagen I solvent can be used to dilute collagen I to the appropriate concentration for the coating of cell culture vessels.
